Mudavadi, Moi, Wetangula, and Kalonzo launches one Kenya Alliance (Video)

Hours after Deputy President William Ruto dismissed their union terming it a “sacred alliance” riding on ethnic lines, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Gideon Moi, Moses Wetangula, and Wiper’s Kalaonzo Musyoka have launched an alliance.

Speaking at the Nairobi’s Serena hotel during the momentous and historic announcement, the leaders announced that the One Kenya Alliance was bringing together all the represented parties, and not leaving out the ruling jubilee outfit.

During the press briefing, KANU chairman and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi made it clear that they were going to pull out all their candidates in the upcoming by-elections to give the ruling Jubilee outfit an automatic win.

Senator Moi added that the move was a show of respect to the affiliate parties to the newly launched One Kenya alliance for which the Jubilee party is part.

ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi reiterated that as a party they stand with Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala in his woes while shunning the politics of tokenism.

His sentiments were echoed by the Wiper democratic Movement Alliance Kalonzo Musyoka who also expressed his concerns on the Malala sentiments, terming him a strong and fearless leader.

Kalonzo said that the one Kenya alliance will not field any candidate in the Bonchari, Juja, the Garissa mini polls as a show of solidarity with the Jubilee outfit.

He added that the new sacred union will be campaigning for the Jubilee Party in the by-elections while showing other outfits some tricks of how it’s done.

Also present during the press briefing is Kajiado County Governor James Ole Lenku who expressed his happiness at his Jubilee party being part of the alliance.
