Canadian exiled Kenyan-born lawyer Miguna Miguna has taken a swipe at the ODM leader Raila Odinga poking holes on reports of his ill health and subsequent diagnosis with Covid-19.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Miguna detailed that the news of Odinga’s health was a cover-up to a much deeper problem with his handshake partner President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Miguna went ahead to reveal that the head of state had refused to visit the former Premier at the Nairobi hospital where he was admitted.
“Conman Raila Odinga knows Uhuru Kenyatta has REFUSED to visit him at Nairobi Hospital. So, he is using COVID-19 to explain why,” Miguna claimed.
The former National Resistance Movement general questioned why the opposition leader was being managed by a neurosurgeon instead of a qualified endocrinologist.
He further questioned why those who had recently been around Odinga during his recent tours had not been self-isolated and quarantined
“Only in Kenya is a neurosurgeon called Dr. David Livingston Oluoch Olunya supposed to be treating COVID-19. Come on, good people.
“I expected to see an ENDOCRINOLOGIST – specialist in diabetes – which Raila suffers from, by his side. Why haven’t they quarantined Junet Mohamed, Oburu Oginga, Hassan Ali Joho, Amason Kingi, and other cows that were with him recently? Give us a break!” Miguna tweeted.
Miguna went ahead to liken it to a sympathy and publicity-seeking scenario giving an example of Donald Trump when he was facing an impending electoral defeat, leading to him visiting Walter Reed Hospital amid claims of Covid-19 infections.
