The Deputy President’s legal advisor on Tuesday opened a special Bank account at KCB Upper Hill branch to enable all UDA allied elected political leaders to collect funds from their salaries to help support UDA activities country wide in the coming days.
The legal advisor, Mr. Korir Sing’oei. He was accompanied by UDA political operators led by Emmanuel Talam and Anthony Kibagendi. This is coming hot on the heels of open defiance from Tanga Tanga Mps who have threatened to stop remitting their contributions to the sponsoring party Jubilee.
Grapevine has it that the UDA allied leaders are in agreement that for them to sustain the onslaught from the BBI proponents they will need to be better resourced to traverse the country and make their presence felt.
It is open secret that Tanga Tanga wing of the political divide have been slowed down by the passing of the BBI Constitutional Amendment Bill 2020 after in more than 40 counties including Bomet and West pocket which are traditionally Tanga Tanga regions.
