Kang’ata admits he has been a tanga tanga mole all along in incredible tell-all interview

In a dramatic turn of events that has brought to the fore just how deeply entrenched the DP’s intelligence network is within Uhuru’s government, Murang’a senator and former Senate Majority Chief Whip, Irungu Kang’ata, has now come out to confess that he has been a pro-Ruto operative for the last three years.

After this shocking admission by the Murang’a senator yesterday night, focus has now been shifted to Jubilee party, and how such a big party can lack the machinery to conduct proper background checks before entrusting someone with such a huge responsibility.

In a day which was full of dramatic incidents, there was a deservedly dramatic end to it yesterday.

In an unbelievable scene that left people dazed at what was unfolding before their very own eyes, Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata, as if now freed by his ouster to open up and ease his conscience, began by exposing the little known fact that Kipchumba Murkomen has been one of his closest friends since their days in college together.
Kang’ata was speaking on Citizen TV’s late night show hosted by Waihiga Mwaura, NewsNight. He was invited alongside Ndaragua MP Jeremiah Kioni, who joined them virtually.

Kang’ata’s huge confession, however, came when the show’s host asked him if he had a preferred presidential candidate for the upcoming 2022 general elections.

“For some time now, I have been a believer of what the president told us about three years ago…that we should support him for his two terms, then later support the DP…so yes, I have been, and I still am a supporter of the DP. Am supporting the president by following his advice and supporting the DP.”

The Murang’a Senator also finally came out, and for the first time, openly admitted to having problems with the BBI report, a report which just 24 hours earlier, he had been entrusted to spearhead in parliament. Kang’ata admitted to being uncomfortable with the provisions that expand parliament, and thus, the wage bill.

He also poked holes in the president’s recent move to award MCAs with car grants.

  1. The Senate Majority Whip said he has always been respectful and a great supporter of the President as he is his personal friend, arguing that he will take it respectfully should he be fired. “If for any reason removal was to occur, there is nothing I can do. I will thank the party for that period I have served them as their leader and I will remain respectful and loyal to my superiors and authorities.”
