Murkomen’s best friend makes fun of Kang’ata’s troubles

They say be careful what you do to others, for it might be done unto you too, and in a tweet that has been widely shared and retweeted too, one of Murkomen’s best friends seemed to enjoy reminding the Senate Majority Whip Irungu Kang’ata this.
Just this month, Irungu Kang’ata has been the talk of the town following a controversial letter that he wrote to the president, which has been perceived as patronising as well as disrespectful.

Kang’ata, in the letter, urges the president to rethink his stand on the BBI as it is unpopular. It has also been widely suspected that it was the legislator who leaked the letter to the press.

Since then kang’ata has been on the receiving end of harsh rebuke and criticism from the president’s loyalists, but things seemed to go a notch higher after it was reported that the EACC was launching investigations into him.
Reading malice into the whole thing, Kang’ata registered his displeasure in the entire outcome with a tweet. Quoting James 1:12, he wrote, blessed is the man who remains steadfast during trial.
Seasoned journalist, and one of Murkomen’s best friends, however, was at hand to quickly remind the Murang’a senator his role earlier in the persecution of two fellow citizens, and that this was simply a case of karma.

Wakili when I remember the role you played in hounding out Kindiki, Murkomen and Kihika… I believe karma is real. Principle should be consistent.

It is a widely known and remembered fact that during the Jubilee purge in Parliament that ended with the ouster of Kindiki Kithure as deputy speaker, Kipchumba Murkomen as Majority Leader and Susan Kihika as Majority Chief Whip, Irungu Kang’ata was one of its biggest supporters.

Makali has been a bosom buddy of senator Kipchumba Murkomen for more than ten years, from way back, even before the latter got into politics, and when the two were hosting a political show on Citizen TV alongside Udwak Amimo.
