Moses Kuria takes on Kalonzo Musyoka on DP Ruto employing Kalenjins

Hours after wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka accused Deputy President William Ruto of Tribalism, for entirely employing all Kalenjinsin his share of the government Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has hit out.

Taking on the former Deputy President head-on, the Tanga Tanga brigade defended the DP exposing how they offered Kalonzo a third of the government but he blatantly refused.

Taking to social media earlier today, the legislator told off Kalonzo for failing to grab a share of the DP’s fifty percent of the government offer to employ other tribes.

“So Kalonzo Musyoka is accusing William Ruto of allocating all his 50% share of government to his community in 2013? Let us assume that (like in a cold day in hell) he is right.

In 2013, we in Jubilee Coalition offered Kalonzo to join and take up a third (a whole 33%) of government. He refused.

At least he should have accepted the offer and reduced William Ruto’s share. We were not born yesterday and we did not come with the railway Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka” Wrote Moses.

The Wiper leader gave an example of Cleopa Mailu who was pushed out of his former health docket for more politically correct individuals, after the Jubilee re-election.

“Even Ambassador Mailu would be a minister today. I followed that story very closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta and I was told he [Uhuru] had no problem with Mailu. He would have continued as a minister,” Kalonzo stated.

He added that for the first time a regime failed to give the Kamba land a piece of the cake in cabinet ministry since independence.

“You have a community with not a single minister and you really think you can come and confuse Wakamba with those monies of wheelbarrow economics?” the former Vice President asked.

“Since 1963 when this country had Independence, we used to have at least two Cabinet ministers from that community. This is not tribalism; it is the reality of the situation.”

The words came at a time the DP has been making inroads to Kamba land seeking their backing for his 2022 Presidential bid.
