Drama was earlier today witnessed at a Kisii school after a form three student stabbed his two teachers with a kitchen knife.
Reports indicate that the student was summoned to the school’s staff room after he reported to class late.
Hell broke loose when he refused to be punished for the act, and instead, picked a knife which he used to attack the teachers causing them bodily injuries.
One of the Teachers Mr. Edwin Mokaya who was first attacked is said to have sustained a deep wound injury in the forehead after the attack.
A second teacher Elvis Maoto is also reported to have sustained a cut on his wrist while attempting to bar the student from attacking his colleague.
The teachers were rushed to Ram hospital in Kisii town where they are currently receiving treatment, with Mr. Elvis reported to being in stable condition.
“We are currently doing a primary assessment on the injuries as we start treatment,” Ram Hospital administrator Enock Abobo told journalists.
Confirming the incident Kisii County Police Commander Jebel said a thorough investigation has been launched into the issue with a team of competent detectives already in the school.
“We have dispatched a team of detectives to commence a probe,” he said.
This comes just days after a University student in Kiambu County attacked his family members, killing four members of their family and their farmhand.
Lawrence Warunge and his girlfriend were later arrested by the police after detectives traced his phone signals at his hideout, he killed the family members on January 5, 2021.
