Sudi on why he thinks Uhuru has ditched Jubilee for ODM

Outspoken Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has maintained that President Uhuru Kenyatta has ditched Jubilee for Raila Odinga’s ODM party.

Ina Facebook post on Thursday, December 10, Sudi said that Uhuru’s heart is no longer in Jubilee after his meeting with ODM candidate for Msambweni Idd Boga.

He further bid Uhuru farewell and wished him well.

“Uhuru Kenyatta has been spotted with ODM candidate Omar Boga. This is now the second evidence that the President has defected to ODM. His heart is completely out of Jubilee. MP Kuria claims he was forced to cancel 2 rallies in Kahawa after goons invaded venues

“We stood firm with him during heydays and we wish him well in his new political formation.

Bye-bye,” Sudi wrote.

Uhuru hosted Boga at State House Mombasa on Thursday, December 10.

This comes months after the Jubilee Party announced that it had withdrawn from the Msambweni race.

According to Raphael Tuju, the ruling party pulled out from the race to reflect the handshake spirit between Uhuru and Raila.

On his part, Ruto said though he did not agree with the SG’s announcement, he would support it.

“I was of a different view on the party fielding a candidate in Msambweni but because a decision has already been made and communicated to the public, we will all stand by that decision that those who had intentions of vying on a Jubilee ticket in Msambweni will now look for alternatives may be run as independent candidates or in other political parties,” he said.
