Deputy President William Ruto-led Tanga Tanga faction has been dealt a huge blow following the about-turn of Oscar Sudi, one of DP’s right-hand man about his stand on the BBI.
Kapseret member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has today made a shocking abrupt turn in what seems to be in support of the Building Bridges Initiative.
Speaking earlier today during the burial of Bahati member of parliament Kimani Ngunjiri’s mother, Sudi praised the BBI as a good document and was only reserved on its burden on the commonfolk.
He added that though good for the members of parliament due to their monthly salary, the document will bring a lot of continued suffering to the Kenyans.
“This BBI is not bad but it is a burden to Kenyans. You should be careful because for me as a member of Parliament, I will get my salary but common citizens will continue suffering,” said Sudi.
This is contrary to what the vocal Tanga Tanga legislator had been saying earlier, having insisted that he had read the document, and found it very baseless and unnecessary.
Taking to his Facebook account, the lawmaker had termed the document “strange” and with no consideration to the plight of the common Kenyan.
He added that it was only beneficial to the politicians with the creation of many overburdening unnecessary positions.
“I have read the BBI report and noted something strange. The document entirely benefits politicians and does not address the issues concerning common Mwananchi. The creation of unnecessary positions overburdens the common Mwananchi instead of relieving them from the current burden,” he said via his Facebook page.
