Atwoli reveals Uhuru’s preferred candidate in secret video

Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli on Monday, November 23 spoke on the heated debate on who will inherit Uhuru’s presidency come 2022.

Speaking at an undisclosed location, the old man stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta could not hand the baton to his deputy William Ruto, adding that the president would instead endorse Baringo Senator Gideon Moi for the top seat.

“He (Uhuru) cannot vacate power without knowing who will take care of the country. He cannot surrender power to Ruto,” Atwoli said.

Further adding,

“In the whole group, he can only trust gideon. He can compromise and have gideon in power. Ruto supporters are confused about where they are going.”

According to the controversial COTU boss, Uhuru only has to convince the Mt. Kenya region not to support Ruto.

This, according to Atwoli, is a simple task since the head of state only has to remind his people of how Ruto did not stand behind the former president, the late Mzee Daniel Moi.

Atwoli further mentioned lawyer Paul Gicheru who surrendered to the Hague after the International Criminal Court (ICC) indicted him.

He noted that question marks are surrounding the controversial lawyers after the charges levelled against him.

The Secretary-General has time and again predicted Ruto’s downfall in his bid for presidency come 2022.

Following Jubilee Vice-Chairman David Murathe endorsing Raila Odinga as the ideal presidential candidate in 2022, Atwoli also threw his weight behind Baba.

He said that Raila has the best shot at the presidency, seeing he has die-hard supporters.

Atwoli also claimed that the former prime minister is the only leader who has managed to unite Kenyans.

“I am endorsing murathe’s proposal for Raila Odinga being a candidate in 2022 because he is the only man who brings kenya together, and he has supporters, suicidal supporters,” Atwoli said.

Further adding,

“I know by 10 a.m. in the morning he will have won the seat as the president with the support of central and other places.”
