The death of Matungu Member of Parliament Justus Murunga has taken afresh twist as the diseased lawmaker’s widows now demand a ridiculous amount of money from mistress who surfaced with two kids forcing the court to stop the MP’a burial.
The lawmaker passed way after collapsing at his home before being taken to the nearest health facility where they were referred to the next facility due to lack of oxygen, but It was later revealed that the lawmaker succumbed to the deadly Covid19 virus.
The family of the lawmaker whose burial is in limbo are now battling a court case with a lady who claims Murunga sired her two kids and wanted the burial to be stopped until the case is determined.
The lady identified as Agnes Wangui who claims she is Murunga’s mistress was granted court orders stopping the burial of the MP whom she claimed she had a long term relationship with.
The court order stopped the late lawmaker’s burial that was to take place on November 28 until DNA was conducted to confirm Wangui’s assertions that Murunga sired her two children.
Murunga’s two widows, Christabel Murunga and Grace Murunga are now demanding Agnes Wangui to deposit Kah10 million as security for stopping the MP’s burial abruptly.
According to the two Murunga’s widows the family used a lot of money in planning the burial and postponing it indefinitely will be at great financial loss to the family.
The widows through an affidavit said that they have no problem with DNA exercise but the petitioner, Ms Wangui, will have to finance the process, claiming they were not aware of Ms Wangui’s existence before Murunga passed on.
