Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has stressed that his life is in danger claiming.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, November 18, Kibwana claimed that the state has been spying him with drones that have been hovering around his official residence.
He added that his electronic gadgets have been compromised.
“I am under close state surveillance. Drones hover over my official residence. Electronic gadgets in the house are compromised,” he wrote.
Kibwana added that his efforts to get help from relevant authorities hit a snag, further regretting the country was sliding back to the dark days when intimidation and harassment were the ‘real deal’.
“As it was during Moi and NCEC, so it is now. I have repeatedly made this public and reported to authorities. I will not be intimidated,” he added.
Kibwana is a a strong critic of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.

Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen also claimed that drones have been hovering around his home.
In a tweet, the Senator asked those acting behind the scenes to stop hiding and instead go to his home through the front door.
“To the person who has been sending drones to hover over my house I have two requests. 1. Please share the beautiful aerial photos. 2. Come home through the main gate for a cup of tea but make sure you carry your mask. Thank you and God bless,” Murkomen tweeted.
