Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula was yesterday denied access to a meeting held between President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, and legislators from Western Kenya who sit at the National Assembly and the Senate.

The meeting, held at State House in Nairobi was to rally leaders from the region behind the BBI Report, as well as a plot on how to undo any gains William Ruto may have made in the vote-rich region. According to reports, Senator Wetangula had to be turned back at the gate by State House security because his name was not among the invited leaders.

Wetangula is being accused by aides close to Uhuru and Raila of working so hard to sabotage BBI even after he met President Uhuru and Raila Odinga a week ago in Naivasha.

The Office of the President will officially gazette the BBI draft Bill on Monday or Tuesday next week, this is according to sources from the Office of the President. This latest move by President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to block any further push for amendment by Tanga Tanga especially DP Ruto.

The State has been informed by its intelligence community that William Ruto is determined at slowing down the BBI process, by any means necessary to spite ODM leader Raila Odinga and the Head of State.

The clergy have been roped in this plan and their calls for amending the BBI report were sinister and politically instigated. The State has been informed DP Ruto has pocketed the church and that they will play a critical role in Ruto’s 2022 bid.
