President Uhuru’s uncle dismisses Kikuyu Council of Elders Bondo visit, says it was organized by conmen

President Uhuru’s uncle, retired Captain Kungu Muigai has dismissed Kikuyu Council of Elders’ weekend visit to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga’s Bondo home, where the Luo and Kikuyu Communities berried the hatchet and vowed to work together going forward. Muigai, who is also a member of the Kenyatta family and the Kiama Kia Ma said the Kikuyu Community will take its political direction from President Uhuru Kenyatta who is still the region’s Kingpin.

”Hio wanansiasa wannaandamana na wazee wengine kusema huyu ndio atasimama, hao wote ni matapeli. Hawajatumwa na mtu. Rais hajatuma mtu,” Rtd Captain Mungai said at a meeting with other members of the Kikuyu Council of Elders on Friday.

The elders disowned those who went to Bondo , adding they are hired individuals who want to divide the Kikuyu community for their selfish gains and that they were not aware of the Bondo event.

”Attending the intercultural handshake between the Luos and the Agikuyu community at Kang’o ka Jaramogi in Bondo.2000 Kikuyus from central kenya attended. No more fights between the two communities. My kikuyu name from today is Kahuthia.BABU OWINO KAHUTHIA,” Embakasi East MP Babu wrote on the visit.

“Muhammad Ali told us “Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything,” Raila said on the visit which saw over 2,000 Kikuyu elders visit Kangó Ka Jaramogi’s home.
