Controversial political analyst MutahiNgunyi has delved into the complex 2022 succession politics, revealing what President Uhuru Kenyatta needs to do to make Raila Odinga president.
Taking to Twitter, Ngunyi took a swipe at the DP, stating that President Uhuru Kenyatta neither needs DP Ruto nor the Central Kenya voters to make Odinga President.
Ngunyi explained that Orange Democratic (ODM) leader Raila Odinga still has 44% of the votes he garnered in 2013 and 2017 general elections of which he only needs 6% of the votes from the Gema community to make him the President in 2022 general elections.
“Raila had 44% of the Vote in 2013 and 2017. It is still intact. Uhuru needs 6% of GEMA to make Raila President. This is half of Kiambu or Akorino women only. Uhuru does not need Kikuyus. In fact, 84% of GEMA can follow Ruto if they want to. And they will still fail! Simple math,” stated Ngunyi.
He also said that President Uhuru Kenyatta does not need Kikuyus to make Raila the President, infact he dared those who want to follow Ruto to do so stating that they will still lose in the 2022 general elections.
This comes barely hours after he had claimed that Kikuyus do not need Deputy President William Ruto’s wheelbarrows.
The political analyst took to his social media platform and posted a tweet suggesting that Kikuyus do not need Deputy President William Ruto’s wheelbarrows to survive.
“A Kikuyu without a wheelbarrow is like a fish without a bicycle”.
However, most Kenyans reacted to his tweet and responded by accusing him of being tribal and reminded him that some Kenyans need the wheelbarrows for their small business.
“For your information, Mutahi wheelbarrows are pickup to the hustlers e.g our women are using them for catering services, selling food in construction sites. I know dynasties cannot understand that but our hustler’s clerk knows where it pains most,” Mkiri said.
Mutahi Ngunyi has been on record dismissing Deputy President William Ruto’s hustler movement saying that it will not solve Kenyan problems.
Ruto has been using Hustler Movement as his brand to market himself for the 2022 Presidential elections.
The Opposition Leader had accused Ruto of glorifying poverty by advancing the hustler and dynasties narrative.
