Two people have recorded statements at Muranga Police Station over chaos witnessed at Nyakahura burial, over the weekend. An incident that saw Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro whisked away from irate members of public who were baying for his blood.

Muranga County Commander Josephat Kinyua says the two Alex Mbote and Nominated MCA Habire Chege have been interrogated.

He says Senator Irungu Kangata, Wanjiru Chege, Muturi Kigano and Ndindi Nyoro will also be summoned to record statements.

The chaos led to the burial ceremony of four members of one family who perished in a road accident ending prematurely.

The MP who was accompanied by his Kandara counterpart Alice Wahome were denied a chance to speak at the mass, even though Nyoro had express instructions from DP Ruto to read his message of condolences to the bereaved.
