During the midweek tour of Kiambu County, President Kenyatta took the opportunity to address a recent wave of politicking in which his family was insulted by DP Ruto’s allies.
“Wale watu washenzi wanaenda huko wakitukana mama yangu, waambieni wakatukane mama zao wachaane na mama yangu (the silly people insulting my mother, tell them to insult their mothers instead,” President Uhuru said.
The president also divulged that despite being young, he had no problems leaving the statehouse when his term lapses as the head of state.
His words were directed to Emurua Dikiir Mp Johana Ng’eno and his Kapseret Counterpart Oscar Sudi who had verbally attacked the family of the founding father.
Their actions had sparked reactions from all over the country, with scores demanding apologies for disrespect to the President, former first lady, and the womenfolk.
This saw Ng’eno getting arrested on Monday, with subsequent expulsion from his KANU party, for gross misconduct, and lack of integrity.
