Oscar Sudi defies DP Ruto in fiery response

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has stated that he will not apologize over the statement he made on Uhuru Kenyatta and Former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

Leader allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga have criticized him over his utterances and have since called him to apologize.

Sudi has maintained that his utterance on women’s breasts is biblical and not an insult and therefore he will only apologize once he is shown where he went wrong.

“I was very surprised to see so many people agitated that I referred to women’s breasts, it is even in the bible, that was not an insult, I will apologize once people show me where I went wrong,” he said.

Sudi urged his critics to leave Deputy President William Ruto out of the matter stating that he did not speak on his behalf.

Sudi also accused ODM Leader Raila Odinga of applying double standards in his critics claiming that Raila’s allies and ODM Party have insulted the President on several occasions.

“I was surprised to see Raila Odinga speaking yesterday, why hadn’t he spoken when Gladys Wanga and Babu Owino insulted the President?” Sudi asked.

“If there is a party that has insulted the president, it’s the ODM party, they should not be speaking now,” He added.

However, Deputy President William Ruto who has also been dragged into the matter has criticized Sudi’s statement and urged the leaders to find appropriate mechanisms of addressing their colleagues.
