DP Ruto responds to Murathe’s damning allegations in fiery reply

Deputy President William Ruto has fired back just a few hours after David Murathe roped him in the KEMSA scandal, alleging that his allies were involved in the multi-billion scandal.

During the interview aired on Citizen TV on Tuesday night, Murathe also urged Kenyans to rally behind Raila Odinga, stating that plans are underway to stop DP Ruto.

In a hard-hitting statement, the DP noted that he is being used as a scapegoat, warning that the end of corruption in the country is around the corner.

“The corruption “consultants”, brokers & conmen, some bankrupt in 2013, are now billionaires after looting while scapegoating WsR.

“Their overgrown impunity is shamelessly making them steal even from the sick in a pandemic. The end is nigh. Nowhere to hide. No more scapegoating,” stated Ruto.

Murathe absolved himself from all blame, noting that he was involved in legitimate business dealings.

“I partnered with the said individual in a lot of issues but I have not partnered with him on this one. I consult with and partnered with the firm on other matters. He is my family friend and partner from childhood.

“We have the legal transfers, go check the local banks and find out who the account holders of the company are; you will find that they are known partners of DP William Ruto,” noted Murathe.
