Matiang’i spills the beans on how Uhuru is preparing him to face Ruto in 2022

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is preparing him for presidency come 2022.

Matiang’i was speaking in Nyamira County where he hinted out that Uhuru was mentoring him for the top seat and hinted that he could be the surprise candidate endorsed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I am like a little child who is being prepared to cross a road. I only need your prayers as God holds my hand to help me cross over. I have been tipped for greatness in the country and I need your full support.

“Our President is full of promise to our community and at an opportune time, he is going to surprise people,” Matiang’i stated.

Matiang’i has come out to be an outstanding performer in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Cabinet that saw him being appointed as the head of Cabinet Secretaries by Uhuru.

He could be the latest to join the list of other individuals who have declared their candidature for presidency come 2022. They include; Deputy President William Ruto, Amani Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi, Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana among others.

Former Prime Minister and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Leader Raila Odinga has distanced himself from politics for now claiming that he is concentrating on uniting Kenyans.

DP Ruto allies have blamed Matiang’i for his downfall accusing him of being used by political enemies to intimidate and frustrate Ruto.

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko had indicated in an interview with Citizen TV that Matiang’i and Kibicho are the ‘system’ and‘deep state’ that DP Ruto had claimed that is planning to rig 2022 election.
