Deputy President William Ruto’s office at the ruling Jubilee Party Headquarters located at Thika Super Highway has been transformed to Information Communication and Technology (ICT).
Since the handshake bid between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga in 2018, the second in command has not been seen interacting closely in public with the Head of State as they used to.
Reports that the Deputy President’s Jubilee office has been changed to the ICT office seemingly shows that the Second in command was shown the exit door from the ruling party long time ago.
The rift between the two top country leaders as also seen the Jubilee party divide right in the middle, the Kieleweke outfit allied to the President and Tangatanga allied to the Deputy President.
The fallout also saw the Tangatanga lawmakers allied to the Deputy ousted from plum positions both in the Senate and National Assembly.
