Murathe in Trouble Over His Threats to Senators Who Opposed Revenue Allocation Formula

The ruling Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe has been warned by Senators following his past remarks threatening to take disciplinary actions against the Jubilee Senators who shot down the proposed County Revenue Allocation formula.

The Senators who vehemently rejected revenue allocation Formula have sent a stern warning to Murathe after managing to win the adjournment of the Senate
motion on the allocation proceeding, affirming that they will not now down to threats and intimidation.

Senators led by Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo stated that Senators are the ones carrying the burden of their counties and they won’t allow somebody to sanction their stand on the revenue allocation.

Mutula has informed public that he is taking the opportunity to warn those threatening the Senators

“if you come for our senators we will come for you, ” the Makueni Senator stated.

“I want to send a warning yo those threatening our senators that if you come for our senators we will come for you, ” he warned.

It was reported that Murathe had issued a warning to Senators opposing the proposed revenue allocation.

“As Jubilee Party, they will deal with the senators for going against the party position, ” Murathe stated.

Murathe had disclosed that the Party would deal with Senators who shot down the proposed Revenue Allocation formula.

“We are not yet done, we will deal with the senators for going against the party position. They will have themselves to blame for their parochial decisions. We will kick them out of the party. Read our party constitution, it gives room to deal with them,” Murathe stated.
