Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has quit the Wiper Party after failing to find a suitable defense following the launch of disciplinary proceedings against him for associating with DP Ruto.
The former Machakos Senator says he won’t support the Wiper Party initiative to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta. Wiper, CCM and KANU parties have signed a post poll agreement with Jubilee, which has seen the four parties work together towards 2022.
It is this criticism against against the Wiper-Jubilee pact that Muthama was summoned by the party’s machinery to give reasons why he should not face disciplinary action for defying party constitution.
Muthama has been associated with DP William Ruto and all indications point to joining the camp officially before 2022.
