Suna East MP Junet Mohammed on Tuesday took to the floor of the National Assembly, to explain why him and other leaders are very loyal to Raila Odinga. While commenting on Aden Duale’s ouster as Jubilee Majority Leader in the National Assembly, Junet reminded Duale he had been axed from his position of Majority Leader, because he had gone against the people who own political parties in the country.
”To the former Majority Leader, politically when you see us following Baba like cows, we are fearing the consequences like you are facing today. So politics is like that,” Junet said adding, ” If you go against the wishes of the people who lead this country, the consequence is a good experience for me. I will be more loyal. I will sing Baba throughout.”
While commenting on the same, John Mbadi, the National Assembly Minority Leader joined his fellow lawmakers to heap praises on the Garissa lawmaker for his efficient work and how he championed for government business in the National Assembly, noting that their is no other leader who will replicate Duale’s sovereignty in the House.
Mbadi further disclosed detail on personal friendship with the de-whiped Majority leader substantiating that the dismissal of the lawmaker from plum position was not because of his failure to deliver as everyone knew Duale’s ability and dedication.
The rare praise from the ODM lawmaker to his Garissa counterpart came after Duale tried to do away with the Deputy President William Ruto tag but did not succeed.
The Garissa Town MP was shown the exit by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday 22 June at the Jubilee PG held at KICC on Monday.
