New details have emerged that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka invited Chama Cha Mashinani Party leader Isaac Rutto for a meeting which lasted for two hours at his Karen, Nairobi home on Thursday 21 May.
It was earlier reported that Kalonzo hosted two similar meetings, one with KANU party leader Gideon Moi and the other with his Ford Kenya Moses Wetangula
Kalonzo’s meetings are said to be part of his party’s efforts to reach out to other parties to build a coalition following the National Executive Council (NEC) authorization to build a coalition with other parties.
Kalonzo has reportedly called for another NEC meeting to deliberate on his wiper party’s cooperation with the ruling Jubilee party.
The former country’s vice president’s recent meetings with high end political leaders clearly indicate that the much anticipated government of national unity could soon take shape.
The Wiper leader is currently working on rebuilding his political stand.
Kalonzo has also been in the front line in supporting the war against Covid-19 through donations to vulnerable Kenyans.
