CCM Party Leader Isaac Ruto, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, NARC’s Martha Karua and KANU’s Abshiro Halake are meeting this Friday 15th April 2020 at an inaugural online dialogue session that will be hosted by the Centre For Multiparty Democracy .
Other Panelists include Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei(Chairperson Senate Standing Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights), Hon. Jeremiah Kioni(National Assembly Chair-Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee) and Ms. Roseline Odede (Advocate/LSK Council Member)
The objective of the dialogue session that will be held on Friday 15th April 2020 11.00am- 1.30pm is to provide the status of various actions and create awareness of the challenges and possible solutions associated with the inevitable governance reforms in Kenya.
To that end, the discussions will mainly focus on the status update on various critical legislation such as the IEBC amendment Bill, the Referendum Bill, Special Interests Group Bill and Political Parties amendment Bill and the emerging impacts created by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The topic of the dialogue will be “Keeping an eye on the governance reforms amid the covid-19 pandemic”
