Panic as Kenya records highest coronavirus cases than Italy in first 35 days

    In the first 35 days of Covid-19 infections in Italy, the country recorded a total of 89 cases. However, Kenya has already recorded 262 cases with 12 deaths in 35 days something that is already causing panic among members of the public.

    ”In the last 24 hours we have tested 1115 samples for covid-9, 16 have tested positive for the corona virus. We are now at 262 confirmed cases in total in Kenya.,” CS Kagwe said during a media briefing on Saturday.

    In Kenya, 8 cases are between 0 to 14 years old, 70 cases between 15 and 29 years, and 164 cases are between 30 to59 years. 20 individuals are above 60 years .

    KOT expressed their concerns over the rising number of cases and urged the government to stay extra vigilant.
