AFC Leopards have received a brand new top of the range bus from President Uhuru Kenyatta after losing to Gor Mahia at yesterday’s Mashemeji Derby. The bus, donated by fundraising expert Dr Nelson Chesere puts the club above the rest and is expected to take its rivalry with Gor Mahia a notch higher.
” President Uhuru Kenyatta has commended Kenyan sportsmen and women for being good role models to the youth. He spoke on Saturday at State House when he handed over a bus to AFC Leopards Football Club, which was donated by Dr Nelson Sechere, an international fundraising expert,” reads a tweet from State House during the hand over ceremony.
The President, who was also accompanied by the entire AFC Football Club, Sports CS Amina Mohammed and Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa said Kenyan sports personalities have been a great inspiration to the youth by demonstrating that it is possible for individuals to utilise their God given talents to improve their livelihood.
