Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is asking for prayers after morning demonstrations against him in Gatundu South, where residents demanded he respect the president. Taking to social media to bemoan his predicament, Kuria said enemies of progress and the deep state are behind his troubles in Gatundu South.
” Pray for me. Today maadui wa maendeleo had organised a ‘Million Man March’ demonstration against myself in Gatundu Town. It was so massive that political historians are rushing there to make notes for history books. A number of Political Science PhD students have changed their thesis to ‘Organising Record Breaking Political Demonstrations: The case of deep State in Gatundu South’ . Note the quality of the roads where demonstrators were marching,” the MP said in a Facebook post.
It is believed the First Family of the Kenyattas, former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo and Gathoni Wamuchomba, the Kiambu Women Rep were the organizers of the demonstrations. This comes even as reports emerge of plans to eject Moses Kuria out of parliament before 2022.
