The Deputy President William Ruto is currently taking to all corners a message of peace to all Kenyans especially the leaders from across the political divide to have one stand on the Build Bridges Initiative (BBI) report implementation.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony of beneficiaries of Lari Constituency Development Fund short courses empowerment program in Kiambu Country, DP Ruto said that contrary opinions regarding the report’s implementation are going to see the country divided, urging politicians to stop employing politics of hatred and division on the BBI claiming that can only lead to polarisation of the country.
Ruto further warned those calling for a referendum to stop threatening and blackmailing Kenyans and give each and every Kenyan to give their opinions as every Kenyan opinion matters at this point.
DP Ruto stated, “For once, let us find a way to implement the BBI report together. It is not necessary for us to be divided,” adding, “You cannot use a divisive process to unite Kenyans.”
DP Ruto maintained that Jubilee leaders have agreed to support the BBI report with the aim of ensuring the country remains united at all costs.
DP Ruto further added that the Jubilee administration remains focused on transforming the country and uniting all Kenyans irrespective of political and tribal groups.
Ruto also called upon Jubilee leaders not to allow any outsider to misuse them since the outsider’s’ aim is to split the party.
