The former Manchester United Coash Jose Mourinho lands a new managerial job as the Tottenham football club manager to succeed Mauricio Pochettino.
The ex-Chelsea and Manchester United tactician has signed a contract with Tottenham Spurs until the end of the 2022-2023 season.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy explaining what attracted them to appoint Mourinho said, “The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me,” said the 56-year-old Portuguese. “Working with these players is what has attracted me.”
Daniel further stated, “In Jose we have one of the most successful managers in football.”
The former Manchester United tactician is said to have turned down quite a number of jobs since he got fired from Old Trafford last year December 2018.
Mourinho takes over a Spurs who currently stands at 14th position in the Premier League after losing five games.
