The Nyali Member of Parliament Mohamed Ali alias Moha Jicho Pevu on Monday 11 November launched a fiery attack on the Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i.

Speaking during a rally held at Magongo town in Mombasa County, the vocal legislator vowed to fight CS Matiang’i to death.

The Nyali lawmaker further declared that the relationship between Mombasa county and Matiang’i his Transport Cabinet Secretary counterpart James Macharia and the Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was officially over.

Part Mohamed’s statement at Magongo rally reads, “Jambo la kwanza nataka kusema hivi, ndoa yetu na nyinyi imefika mwisho meaning I want to let you know that our ‘marriage’ is over.”

Mohamed pointed out the loss of revenue by logistics industry firms following the Transport CS’s directive that Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) is to be the only way to transport cargo from Mombasa to Nairobi claiming the Machiria’s directive has paralyzed logistics firms.

Following the directive, the vocal legislator issued threatened CS Matiang’i. CS Macharia and the Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho claiming they were responsible for reducing fortunes of the local economy adding, “We will not allow you to kill Mombasa’s economy. Before you kill us, we will kill you.”

“SGR si biashara ya Kenya, ni biashara ya mamluki ambao wameigawanya na mmoja kati yao ni Governor Ali Hassan Joho,  which simply means SGR isn’t Kenyan, it’s a business run by foreigners and governor Ali Hassan Joho is one of them,” Nyali legislator alleged.
