Nick Mwendwa the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) boss is now blaming President Uhuru Kenyatta’s directive for the woes and frustrations the country’s sports fraternity is facing.

Speaking during an interview at Citizen TV, FKF boss narrated the frustrations that the sportspeople in the country are going through despite the President’s repeated assurance that everything is being sorted.

Nick stated that President Kenyatta told him twice that he no longer want to hear that the sportspeople lack fund where the president assured him that he has set aside a National Sports Fund to ensure such does not happen.

Nick stated that despite the President’s assurance the body has been set up to take care of sports issues, the teams’ attempts to get funds to organize matches and pay the players were frustrated by senior officials at the helm of the fund’s body.

Nick stated that women’s football team the Harambee Starlets have aced the worst claiming they have been neglected despite their fabulous performance.
