Safaricom PLC celebrates world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge by changing the M-Pesa logo to Eliud Kipchoge’s name for the next seven days.
The new logo will contain the champion’s first name five letters that are ELIUD.
Safaricom confirms they will not only change the logo to Kipchoge’s name but will go ahead and have him as their ambassador.
The world marathon record holder Kipchoge began his first day in Vienna by running with quite a number of his pacemakers on the challenge course.
Safaricom acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Joseph on Wednesday 9 October said it is a great honor for Safaricom to be associated with the great man Eliud Kipchoge.
The new logo will be the five letters spelling Kipchoge’s first name, “Eliud” and the numbers “1:59” to denote the challenge.
