The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader is now up on his toes and has launched a new strategy he has never used to ensure Ken Okoth’s brother Bernard Otieno (Imran) succeeds his brother in the Kibra by-elections.
According to reports, the Orange Democratic (ODM) party is now using door-to-door campaign strategy as opposed to big rallies the party used to organize before to ensure every vote counts.
The ODM Director of Elections and Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed said the party decided to do away with rallies and focus more on a personalized method of convincing voters to support their candidate, Imran Okoth.
Legislator Junet explained that they will leave no stone unturned by visiting every corner and claims that they have left the rallies to Owalo the Amani National Congress (ANC) aspirant and his leader Mudavadi.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) canceled the rally that was to be held at DC grounds backing on the door-to-door campaigns.
Suna East MP Junet added that they will attend Seventh Day Adventists (SDA) Churches in Kibra to spread the gospel of peaceful campaigns and elections which has always been the ODM’s party philosophy.
The tactics will be used by the ODM party to appeal to Kikuyu’s to vote Ken Okoth’s brother despite the president backing the Jubilee aspirant Mariga in the Kibra by-election.
The ODM party leaders affirm that the door-to-door step strategy will guarantee the ODM aspirant a landslide victory.
