The Communications Authority of Kenya(CAK) fines the controversial pastor James Ng’ang’a Ksh1 million over claims of exposing a woman’s breast on his online Sasa Television platform.
Chimbiru Gimode the Communications Authority of Kenya(CAK) officer said on September 20 that the authority based their conclusion on sections of the Kenya Information and Communications Act of the Kenya Broadcasting Regulations to fine Pastor Ng’ang’a.
The Programming Code for broadcasting does not allow the broadcasting graphic descriptions of sexual organs, other sensitive parts of the body, and the act is considered offensive.
Pastor Ng’ang’a now on the receiving end for allegedly ignoring the warnings given to him for exposing sexual organs in his Sasa TV channel.
Pastor Ng’ang’a watershed period show scheduled at 5 am to 10 pm should adhere to rules and the content during that time should be suitable for family viewer kids considered.
Programs that contain strong adult themes or obscenities should not be aired between 5 am to 10 pm because of the kids.
In defense for himself, Ng’ang’a claimed he has no control over what happens during moments of the deliverance of his followers from evil spirits.
Ng’ang’a said he was recently prosecuted for showing breast but claimed how could he know that the breasts were exposed yet they were not his own.
