It is Raila who is Controlling the Government and State Power – DP Ruto’s allies

ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Leaders allied to DP William Ruto now say it is Raila Odinga who is running government and the DP has been sidelined by President Uhuru Kenyatta. The leaders claim it is Raila Odinga who was behind the appointing of Labour CS Ukur Yatani as a replacement to Henry Rotich, something they say is the highest forM of betrayal by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

”It is now clear that we are not wanted. Daggers have been drawn as President Kenyatta seems determined to remove all people allied to DP Ruto from positions of leadership,”  said Keiyo MP Daniel Rono.

The MP, who was speaking during an interview with one of the local media houses said Uhuru had placed Raila Odinga at the center of government and state power even though Raila was supposed to be treated like an enemy.

“It is Raila who is calling the shots at the moment, but time will tell….we are watching! Eventually, Ruto will have the last laugh,” he continued.

Soy MP   Caleb Kosittany  on the other hand claims  that the handshake is a plot to clip Ruto’s wings and finish him politically ahead of 2022 polls. He says the scheme is so elaborate and targets all Ruto’s proxies in government who have powerful positions.

“In my view and from previous cases, it appears there is a scheme to elbow out of office people seen to be supporting the Deputy President,” said the chairman of the Rift Valley MPs caucus.

After his appointment as the AU High Representative for Infrastructure, Raila Odinga has has a strong influence in government. His offices in Capitol Hill have become a bee hive of activities, with Cabinet Secretaries and top government officials trooping in to consult and seek direction on issues of national concern.
