Thirdway Party leader Ekuru Aukot has made damning revelations claiming his life is in danger and powerful people in government want him dead. His claims come a day after the Thirdway Alliance Secretary General was shot in a raid of the party’s headquarters in Lavington.
Aukot said during the attack secretary general Okango managed to rescue himself from the attackers and hid inside a toilet.
“The men had threatened to shoot Okango if he did not come out of the toilet. The men were armed with big guns, it is now out there for people to judge,” he said.
However in a plot twist, Dagoretti DCI chief Francis Wanjau say police investigations reveal that no shots were fired by the alleged attackers. He says preliminary investigations have indicated that the attack was a robbery incident and not targeting Aukot or his aides.
According to Third Way Alliance Party Leader Ekuru Aukot, six gunmen raided the party’s headquarters along Chalbi Drive in Lavington where they found Mr Okango and shot Mr Okango.
