New Ukrainian laws will see convict pedophiles and rapists forcibly castrated by chemical injection. The law will apply to thousands of men aged between 18 to 65 who are found guilty of raping or sexually assaulting minors.
Under the new law, pedophiles will face coercive chemical castration. This involves the forced injection of ‘anti-androgen’ drugs consisting of chemicals that will reduce libido and sexual activity.
To back the new laws, Ukraine will also set up a public register of pedophiles jailed for child rape and sexual abuse. Such criminals will be monitored for life by police after release from jail.
Similarly, the maximum jail term for sexual offenders has been increased from 12 to 15 years. This is in line with the rise of sexual crimes against children and teenagers yet to hit puberty. The Ukrainian Government hopes to kill the vice and shield its young population against predators.
Further, the medication dosage will differ from person to person. Each offender will receive enough, uniquely personalized dosage to prevent them from repeated sexual offending.
Ukraine becomes the first country to adopt such a drastic measure against the savage child molesters. The law’s success will see many countries across the globe adopting it in a move to protect the innocence of children.
