I only Take orders from Uhuru whom I work for, Tuju blasts DP William Ruto and his men

After days of trying to avoid a direct confrontation with his boss, Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has blasted DP William Ruto and his men. In a scathing attack with one of the local media stations, Tuju decided to take his enemies within Jubilee Party head on.

Just two days after DP William Ruto accused him  on twitter of being an opposition strategist, Tuju decided to clap back, warning the Deputy President he will not sit and watch as he is being humiliated by Jubilee Party members. He also challenged the DP  or any  member of the ruling party who has evidence that he using his position to promote the political activities of Opposition chief Raila Odinga should follow the party regulations.

“There is a laid down procedure of how to remove someone from office. Those with issues should at least file them with the party then allow me to defend myself,” Tuju said.

The Jubilee Secretary General also denied claims he is an Odinga stooge within Jubilee, saying he is doing the president’s work.

“I received a phone call from the President asking me to go and represent him. The only thing I did was to read the speech from the President. Now they want to impeach me because of that?” Tuju asked.

“Initially it was Interior CS Fred Matiang’i who was to go but some changes were made. I was facilitated by State House,” he added over his last week’s visit to Siaya.

Ruto allies however insist Tuju must pave way for a new party Secretary General because he is working with those opposed to Ruto’s 2022 bid.

”“He has no business being in our party if he has joined forces with the opposition to undermine the DP who is also our deputy party leader,” said Nyandarua Women Rep.

Her sentiments were echoed by Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara who insisted Tuju should quit.

“If he is now comfortable working with Raila after the handshake, then he should just quit rather than advance his political agenda using his position in the party by sharing our strategy to please Raila,” she said.
