Pro Ruto MPs however openly state, Uhuru has never visited the region compared to Ruto since he was voted in for the second term.

According to some of the organizers of the event, churches involved had been advanced sh. 5 million for early preparations.

Part of the cash was to be channeled towards ferrying followers, hiring of public address system, soft drinks including soda and water among other social amenities that may be needed on the material Saturday.

Among those who had confirmed their attendance were Women Representatives Catharine Waruguru(Laikipia), Ann Ngirici (Kirinyanga), Sabina Chege (Murang’a), Janet Nangambo (Trans Nzoia) and Senator Mithika Linturi (Meru).
