COTU Secretary General is not stopping his controversial statements anytime soon. With the impending referendum he said, President Kenyatta still has many years ahead of him, to serve Kenyans in a different capacity in  government. The COTU boss with an acerbic tongue also continued with his verbal assault on DP William Ruto calling him the most corrupt leader in Kenya’s political history.

”On the issue of BBI,we support the referendum. That is why we are saying this is where we proposed constitutional changes. Uhuru is still young, where will he go after 2022?Lets create a government all the leaders to be in it so that when we finish the elections we have peace,” he said at Uhuru Park in today’s Labour Day celebrations.

Those who are pushing for the amendment of constitution say it is a noble initiative that will help in accommodating every leader from every part of the republic and end the usual winner takes it all after every election. This ,they say is a recipe for chaos as well and discontent and a section of Kenyans feeling left out in the government.

There are proposals to have President Uhuru head the post 2022 government as a Prime Minister because he cannot vie as president again in 2022 because the constitution bars him from seeking a third term.
