Twitter Exposé Shows How Kenya’s Influencers Engage in Random Sex Triangles and Millenials Gone ROGUE!

If you thought Twitter was for those with above average noggins, where one has to make a coherent and cerebral text with less than 200 word count- well, think again.

Ever bought into the notion that Face-book was laden by ignoramus, a hub for drama, juvenile rants, airing of soiled linen, acute exhibition of lunacy? Welcome to Twitter, Kenyan version.

Kenyan Twitter famously or infamously referred to as KOT are the 12th wonder of the World. Even President Uhuru cringes at their mention.

It is not all bad though- they have made Institutions take actions, they led a campaign against Kenya Power and almost succeeded if only Lawyer Apollo did not opt to eat and wipe his mouth; recently, they made the mighty New York Times bow.

In the past few days however, the streets have become messy, invaded by pugnacious millennials who refer to themselves as ‘bigwigs’, aka influencers who are mostly idle young souls who have no tangible grasp of anything meaningful save for day long banters often conveyed in average grammar.

As one user rightfully quipped,

“Sometimes I feel that Twitter is packed with the semi-bright kids we all hated in high school. Know those who scored well in English and nothing else and their day job was kuchongoa tu the kids based on their looks and accent”.

The recent drama lays credence to his claims.

Following the unmasking of Fadhili Odinga- the most confident con who ever graced the earth- a trend was set and a few other have been trickling.

Two days ago, a lady whose Twitter moniker is Kenya Rugby Queen lashed out at her friend-turned-foe Njeri, who has christened herself the as Iron Lady; Duchess of Gatanga, for forcefully seeking a romantic relationship with a rugby player.

The alleged interest in the rugby player, identified only as Mokuasi, would – a few hours later – morph into something that would put Hollywood script writers into shame. Talk of passion-turned-bitter, slander, random sex with strangers, betrayal- Hey there Tyler Perry!

It escalated fast, a few tweeps ganged up on Njeri aka Duchess including one of her former love interests. Wrong move! Instead of responding to the nudes she allegedly sends Rugby players, she turned her fury on the said ex known as Jarvis.

And in a long thread, exposed Jarvis.

HER THREAD-Her words

‘In 2014 June, I started working on this ivory case in Mombasa, Jarvis and I used to talk even before I picked the case. I got to Mombasa; he picked me up in town. We got to his house, it was on a weekend and I told him I had to go see Mr Tudor in KWS office and the next, I day had to meet the then-County Commissioner over the same issue. Monday at 9am, I was meant to meet the lead prosecutor [so that we could] start on the matter. I stayed with him [Jarvis] for 3weeks. You think I’ll lie and say there was no fluid exchange involved, there was.

“Jarvis was messing with then-Dj Kaytrixx’s girlfriend, Maya. I asked him about her and he was like: ‘She comes to sleep-over once in a while.’ I was like ‘ok!’ Then he wanted to have Maya over, he caused drama. He picked [and] chased me with panga. I went to his landlord and they helped me leave [Jarvis’ house].

“So, I texted my boss because 1. Jarvis was armed, and no, I wasn’t going to agree to die. My boss advised me to leave and go to South Coast and stay with my grandma but [he advised me to] first report Jarvis to his boss, which I did; and they raided his bedsitter in Kiembeni, where they only found Maya.

“Jarvis was [consequently] disarmed and I think [demoted] to guarding the bank and not [Mombasa Governor Ali] Joho. I was accompanied by his mkubwa to County Commissioner’s office to write a statement.

“So, that is how Jarvis and I stopped talking. Not forgetting, since I lived with him, I had to buy food coz I love food. I [also] used to do his laundry. Yes I am not ashamed I did all this and I’ve come out clean and open.”

Now Jarvis comes in and admits he threw her out and with reasons.

HIS THREAD- copied word for word

“like woman you used to fly in every Weekend & do the cleaning & bring some cheap stuff that I have never even touch,of which nilikutupa nje nazo,I was never home. Our side hustle was over now, sielewi why you came back & refused at my place.

I had to send boys to go pick my keys & she refused ati mpaka nirudi home,so l had to seek a day off just to go kick her out, while I was Busy kicking her out she was busy forcing herself to unzip my zip this the level of psycho was dealing with here thats how mighty Panga came in
Self defense. What if she wanted to Rape me.Or take my firearm.Guys think. She was forcing herself on me.Mimi I just wanted her out and out for good. Sina ubaya na mtu

And her using my place for accommodation it was for her own safety for things I won’t post cause is not for threads and that’s how me and her came to know each other.Sasa mtu akikatalia kwako kwani mtu kaolewa na lazima jamani kijana nimepitia mengi, and it truly changed me.

She is very good when she selects her male victims to terrorize, and she had done a good background check up on me just like all other men who have been her victims tuko wengi and Btw Did the baby daddy not commit suicide if I’m not wrong cause of her.Ask Her?

So Apparently, after Jarvis kicked her out, she remembered a ‘twitter friend she heard stays around and DM(ed) him to come rescue her. The guy is named Njoroo and he unleashed his own bit…

NJOROO’s THREAD

“Ever got SoS message from your TL fan who has been kicked out by her roommate and had no place to go – and needs to crash until the per diem came through? No? Do you imagine you could drive into a slum just to meet the tweep with belongings black paper bag

Hold this thought because the roommate who kicked her out is actually her last victim before myself. In short, I walked into a fire going to rescue a damsel in distress.

So anyway, we went to my house where I offered the bed and took the couch on night 1. Night 2 or 3 was compromise and we hit the sack – under a very clear caveat. It was casual and nothing serious.

Day 3 : The per diem hadn’t come through or some other strange story. Unusual because this person was investigating high voltage stuff (ivory maneno) and had access to many places we don’t (I saw some pics)

When she came back: with gifts and gifts upon gifts. I was immediately shook because in there were even things for my daughter. We were not at this level! She had spent her per diem getting me the gifts – so she was stuck again at my place.

So I crafted a story of going to Malindi or Lamu then flying to Nairobi so she could leave. Dropped her at the bus station and did the “ghosting thing” – and blocked everywhere.

So this annual shame parade that Njeri does is cos I never spoke to her after that day. It no longer bothers me – she can amuse herself every year. Her and her shame squad.

DJ Kaytrixx, however is yet to respond to the claims. The calm DJ has been married for more than six years now.

While these drama of who screwed who, where, when and how;who is sending nudes to who is no news considering those involved are young and sexually active, the randomness begs the questions- is this carelessness or being sexually woke?

Or better yet, are these millennials hooking up for sex courtesy of social media using protection?

Last year, report showed that there 184,719 HIV-positive youth (15-24 years) and this age group accounts for 17,667 of the total new infections, and 2,830 HIV-related deaths.

One more question, what if these young Kenyans channeled this primitive energy of exposing who screwed who into demanding for accountability from their County and National Governments? Or something more constructive and meaningful or this is just us exhibiting third world mentality?
