According to unconfirmed information reaching Kenyan Report, the recently released Migori Governor H.E. Okoth Obado will be hosting Deputy President William Ruto in Migori on Monday, November 05, 2018. As per our sources, the two will be launching the street lighting projects in Suna west constituency which is represented in parliament by Hon. Peter Masara.
In a rather surprising turn of events, Kenyan report has obtained documents indicating that the street lighting project was initiated and was to be launched by Hon. Masara as the area MP. The hijacking of this project for launching by the Deputy President and Hon. Obado is among what has become common with the Tanga Tanga movement in an effort to remain relevant, only comparable to political conman ship.
The launching and re – launching of projects was rampart in the run up to the 2017 general elections ,during which Kenyans saw projects launched twice some of which were way below the cost of the deputy presidents entourage. Unashamedly and undeterred, the deputy presidents desire to expand his political base seems less bothered by the scope of the projects he launches befitting the status of his office, as long as he is seen and heard.
His appearance in public with the Hon.Okoth Obado especially after being released on bond following the controversial murder of Sharon Otieno in which the governor is heavily mentioned will definitely raise questions among the locals.
