Sources claim that from the duo’s body language, one could sniff pungent blatant animosity towards each other. Ruto who arrived later at the event after hosting Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru at his Karen home following an IPSOS poll declaring both of them hard-eyed thieves of public resources was kept waiting outside Uhuru’s office for one hour as Raila, Uhuru and Ida locked themselves inside Uhuru’s office chatting and having tea.

For the one hour he was kept waiting, he was seen talking to Senior Statehouse operatives and that he was irked that Raila had been invited to such an important State function.

He was so infuriated that when he left the event,he tweeted “those running Injili ya Shetani that unless your father was a Minister, Vice-President or President, however hard you work, you must remain poor-and if not a pauper you must be corrupt and have stolen-they should know that those without godfathers- we have God the father.”

Minutes later, he deleted the tweet but the message was home.
