Kisumu County residents are being treated to untold drama that has now escalated to death threats on the life of the County boss.
The County Chief of Staff Patrick Ouya has been arrested after he allegedly verbally threatened to shoot Governor Anyang Nyong’o.
The Chief of Staff allegedly accosted Nyongo’s security team and threatened to storm into the governors office and shoot anyone on site.
Governor Prof. Nyongo is said to have been holding a closed door meeting at the time.
This is not the first time Mr Ouya is being held over controversial altercations related to shooting.
In January, the senior county government officer was investigated by the police after he threatened to shoot Seme ODM chairman and businessman Leonard Ochar.
The incident comes barely a day after Planning CEC Richard Ogendo was arrested over allegations of assault on his chief officer Margaret Ouma.
It is said the two clashed over procurement issues at the county government way back in April, leading to a confrontation from which the chief officer claimed she was assaulted in the process.
