Kenyans on Twitter Lynch Ruto’s Motormouth Murkomen Over his Tweet on Raila

A tweet by Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen castigating Raila Odinga over his ‘new hatred’ against the Kalenjins has earned him online backlash hours after ODM party issued a statement warning DP William Ruto.

Mr Murkomen, who described Odinga’s latest move to hate Kalenjins as deplorable and sad has received an online panel beating from Kenyans on twitter who called the legislator to order for instigating a communal hatred conversation.

“Raila for the last three elections ran a campaign against one community- the Kikuyus coz is main competitors were from Central.

“Today he has officially through Gladys Wanga and company launched a new line focused on Kalenjins just coz 2022 competitor is William Ruto. Deplorable and sad,” Murkomen tweeted.

Chairman, I should think this is a complete misstatement. In deed, the 1st line is a complete misrepresentation of facts as they are. I will not comment on the second one.

It’s a shame to see a leader like you thinking on tribal lines and inciting people along the same. I belong to this tribe and I’ll never vote for thieves. I will vote for someone who guarantees freedom and an enabling environment for growth; tribe notwithstanding. Leader my foot!

You are being petty. Who is even talking about 2022. Stop being afraid and work. Leadership is God given and the king will be knowing then. Meanwhile concentrate on your Sanate job and if possible preach peace. Shun away these Divisive tactics.
