Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore has announced his return as company hits Ksh55.29 billion in net income.
His return announcement comes barely a week after NASA leader Raila Odinga lifted a ‘resit’ ban on Safaricom for having participated in the bungled 8th August elections.
Collymore had allegedly been diagnosed with Leukemia and has been in London undergoing rigorous medical procedures.
His departure had raised questions on why it was concurrent with the announcement of presidential results.
The Kenya’s biggest Telecommunication CEO left when he was facing accusations of corruption, illegal data sharing and adultery involving women who are married, some who are working at Safaricom.
