White House staff secretary Rob has resigned from his post. The resignation has since been linked to reports of domestic abuse from two of his ex-wives. However, according to The White House, Porter has denied the allegations. A released statement also states that Porter retains the confidence of Trump and his chief of staff John Kelly. He, nonetheless, would be leaving his post at an undetermined time.

His resignation comes after reports published in the dailies that documented alleged physical and psychological abuse by his two wives. Two photos turned in support of the claims showed Holderness with a badly bruised eye. This, she claimed, a result of being punched by Porter.

Porter is rumored to be seeing Trump’s communication advisor Hope Hicks. Ms. Hicks read a statement from Porter in which he stated that the allegations are nothing but and are false.

According to the statement, Porter took the photos presented at the media approximately 1 years back. He further explains that the description given to the media is nowhere near what had transpired at the time. Porter went on to defend himself saying he has been open about the claims but will henceforth cease to engage with what he terms a smear campaign.
