Three girls in Bomet County sitting KCPE examinations have given birth at Longisa County Referral Hospital.
The three girls were admitted after delivery before they sat for their first examination paper.
The hospital’s medical superintendent said that one of the girls gave birth on the eve of the examination while the second delivered at the beginning of the examination yesterday.
“The third one delivered her bay after the last examination on Tuesday evening,” said Dr. Ronald Kibet.
No complication was reported in their delivery.
The hospital was forced to make arrangements and convert one room into an examination center where the girls sat for their papers. They conducted their exams without interference from other hospital happenings.
It is said that the girls will be discharged after the completion of their papers tomorrow.
